Meet Mr. Pinecone Carrot Johnson

This is Mr. Pinecone Carrot Johnson, a semi-feral kitten we rescued from a rural property near Coombs. This sweet little guy lived in one of our foster homes for a few weeks and then was adopted by a loving family from Protection Island. They tell us that he is a total love bug and gets along great with family members and the other resident pets. On an interesting note, the family who adopted him used to be neighbours with one of our directors when they lived in Edmonton. And, even more significantly, by following in their footsteps, CatSpan's Daina became involved with fostering cats and kittens for the Edmonton Humane Society and now with CatSpan Registered Charity!

Rescued Kitten Family

Here are a few pictures of a kitty family we rescued
September 3rd, 2016, from a kind woman who had taken in a stray mom cat. The family is in foster care right now, and need to stay until they grow even more. There are 7 kittens, about 4 weeks old, and a very sweet mama cat who has been taking such good care of them. AWWW!

So he was taken aback when not one, but two cats showed up at his place each with a litter of kittens in tow. Shortly thereafter a third mom showed up with another litter. He was swamped!  MORE >>
