This beautiful girl is Annie. She came to us pregnant, has done an excellent job of raising her kittens, and is now ready to enjoy life with her new family. She is spayed and has had first vaccines. She is very affectionate but would love to go to a home where she could eventually enjoy some outside time, either in home on a quiet street, or with a catio. She is only about a year old. If you would like to adopt her, please call Kathy at (250) 240 7702

This tiny baby came to us only hours old! She? was left behind when her mom got startled whilst giving birth. Momma took the others away but left this one. She’s getting bottle fed numerous times per day. She’s VERY fragile but has made it through two nights, so fingers crossed for her.
Not ready for adoption yet.
Some of the moms and litters we recently rescued from a rural Property. There are 5 females in total and we now have 4, along with their 16 kittens. We still have one more to find, and we’re pretty sure she will have kittens too! One of the babies seems unable to latch on to mom, so is being bottle fed every couple of hours. It’s going to be a busy year!
Adoption information to follow.

This big guy came from a sad situation, where he’d been fed by a couple of kindly people, but was in terrible shape and had a badly infected paw, which was so painful he couldn’t walk on it. He was VERY shy and scared, but after a lot of vet treatment, time and encouragement, he now loves to play with a mouse on a string and will let his foster mom pet him - but only when he’s eating - he LOVES wet food, treats and Catnip. He will need a special family who has the time and patience to get him to come out of his shell and enjoy the life he deserves. If you would like to take on this challenge, please call Kathy (250) 240 7702

Let's talk reputable rescues that are 100% volunteer non-profit. They do not profit. WE do NOT profit. We pay for our vet bills and supplies solely from donations from our supporters. If you see the image in the collage, the price of one case of kitten food is $92.99. One of our foster homes, just ONE is currently going through more than a case a week. This isn't free fed either. This is for breakfast and dinner and then kibble for the day. If they get sick along their rescue journey (first picture), then we also pay for hospital treatment including but not limited to IV fluids, meds etc to bring them up to health. Then when they're big and strong enough, they'll be Spayed/Neutered, first set of vaccines and tattooed. As you can see, a kitten adoption fee of $400 does not actually cover the cost of the care for that one feline. That's where our fundraisers etc kick in to help us. We share this with you because we beleive being transparent like this can be beneficially educational to our CatSpan fam (that's you!) and the public.
