A new cart for elliot

Picture
When CatSpan went over to Elliot's house after a report of feral cats, CatSpan volunteers fell in love with Elliot.  He has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a neurological disorder that affects his motor skills.  It was later that evening that one of the CatSpan volunteers got the great idea to find Elliot a cart so he could have greater mobility.  CatSpan put a plea out via Facebook and email to see if anyone had a cart or would be able to make Elliot a cart.  Immediately, several people offered their services to build a cart, and one person in Oceanside offered the cart their cat used prior to her passing.  In memory of Precious (aka Katie), the cart was gifted to Elliot.  Unfortunately, it didn't suit him.  Cathy and Vince of Parksville offered their services and made a cart for Elliot from scratch!  It will take Elliot a little while to adjust to the new cart but he is keen on it!  Click here to see a video of testing his new cart.
