Bosley's North Nanaimo hosted a very successful, Cookies for CatSpan! The grand total from the bake sale was $555, with an additional $133 in cash donations.
In addition to those proceeds, Erin at Bosley's North Nanaimo presented our volunteer Ted with a Bosley's gift cards totaling $782! These were the proceeds from the Pet Appreciation Month fundraising they did in April.
A big thanks to Ted who arranged everything, Ren who organized a new sign to promote the event, the volunteers who sat at the CatSpan table (Ted, Bill and Margaret, Diane and Jan, and Susanne and Ren), Angela and Ren who baked yummy treats, and of course, to Bosley's for hosting this fabulous event.
Bosley's North Nanaimo is also acting as a drop-off for book donations for our next book sale, as well as, cat food. Their support has been and continues to be amazing!
A nice way to say "thank you" to Erin and her staff is to support their store. If you are ever in the area, please drop in and say “thanks” and maybe buy some cat food.
We would also like to report that Bosleys Parksville (Sue, Kari and Brianne and staff) raised $4200 during Pet Appreciation Month, which they shared with 7 local animal rescue groups. Each of us received a $600 cheque from Bosleys PV. Many thanks to everyone at Bosleys PV!
