Georgiana

Picture
Picture
“Georgiana is a beautiful, sweet, curious, playful slightly-shy girl, who is looking for her forever home.” That’s how her foster mom describes this fluffy chocolate-brown lady with the impressive ruff and golden eyes.

Her ruff is the reason for her regal name. But everyone calls her Georgi because of her playful nature. She absolutely loves to play with all kinds of toys. She jumps high to chase feathers on a stick. Curious about all the sounds and happenings around her, Georgi loves to watch what you are doing.

She’s an avid bird watcher at the window, chattering at them and at leaves blowing in the wind, as they fly by. She also snores, very softly, which isn’t that regal but will help you find her when she’s napping.

Having another friendly cat in her forever family is essential for Georgi. She warms up quickly to gentle cats, and enjoys romping, playing and snuggling with them. A feline friend will boost Georgi’s confidence around new people, since that’s something Georgi is still working on. When she feels safe, Georgi will join you on the couch and sleep on your feet. She doesn’t quite understand being pet yet but is getting braver all the time.

This young, super-sweet girl will thrive in her forever home with someone who can be patient and do things on her timing. We will show you the techniques to win her over.

Sabrina

Picture
Picture
Sabrina loves playing with water so much, she’s like a raccoon in a cat’s body.
She’ll wash her toys in her water dish.
And you’ll want to keep the lid to the toilet closed or she’ll splash in that, too.

In fact, this cutie can turn anything into a toy, especially anything with a string.
She’ll play with ribbons and string-y things for hours.

She also has the cutest littlest meow when she’s wanting attention or treats or food.

Sabrina enjoys couch cuddles with her foster mom, and LOVES the friendship of the resident cat. Sabrina will need a cat friend in her forever home, and patient people, since she’s a bit shy and timid.

Age: ~ 14 months old

Crisp

Picture
Picture
Would you like to unlock the heart of a cautious house panther? Crisp is a sensitive older kitten with a gentle soul and a survivor’s approach to the world.

When he feels safe, Crisp and his sister, Honey enjoy being around their people, climbing onto desks to supervise your work, curling up in nearby chairs, greeting you at the door when you enter the room, and watching the world outside from a sunny window.

Lately, Crisp and Honey have been having zoomies all over their foster home.
New people and unfamiliar situations can overwhelm Crisp, so he prefers to observe from a safe distance before deciding to come closer.

With patience — and treats — Crisp’s bravery begins to shine. He has slowly started approaching people on his own terms and even climbs onto laps to collect treats. Those quiet moments of trust are incredibly rewarding.

Crisp is seeking a calm, predictable home with gentle-hearted adopters, who understand that trust takes time. We will show you the techniques that boost Crisp’s confidence in new situations.

Crisp would do best in a quiet, adult-only home without children or dogs. He would also benefit greatly from feline companionship. Crisp would love to be adopted with his sister Honey or into a home with a confident, friendly resident cat.

You can see more of Crisp and his sister, Honey, on their foster mom’s Instagram @saltspringcat #AppleDumplingKittens

Age: 8 months old
Compatibility:
- Cats: Yes, please
- Dogs: Unknown
- Children: No, thank you

Please email [email protected] to find out more about courageous Crisp and to schedule a meeting.

Honeycrisp

Picture
Picture
Like the apples she’s named after, Honeycrisp gets sweeter and sweeter as her confidence grows. She’s so sweet her foster mom calls her “Honey” now.

Treats are the fastest way to Honey’s heart. She has happily climbed onto laps to collect them. With the people she trusts, she becomes an affectionate companion, curling up on a lap and purring loudly. Or stretching out on your computer desk as a “co-worker”. She may not always demand attention, but she enjoys quiet companionship, being close to her people and being part of daily life.

This beautiful older kitten has a sensitive heart and a touch of classic tortie attitude: affectionate and independent. She needs an adopter who understands and respects her boundaries, helping build trust with techniques we’ll show you. In return, Honeycrisp offers a deeply rewarding bond and a loving personality.

Honey would do best in a quiet home without young children or dogs, as busy, noisy environments are overwhelming for her. She would also benefit from feline companionship, either by being adopted with her brother, Crisp, or by being adopted into a home with a calm, confident resident cat who will welcome her with open paws.

Hali

Picture
Picture
This tiny lady is a lovebug, seeking out attention, purring loudly when she receives pets and scratches behind her ears. She loves to be with you, and will sit beside you or even on your lap. When you’re working, Hali loves to sit in front of a computer to “help”. Her “help” includes pulling out the paper when you are printing something.

Hali is as playful as a kitten, loves her toys, especially chasing the toy at the end of a stick. She will play with you for hours. But you will need two sticks because, when she catches the toy she will not let go, so she needs to be distracted with the second wand toy. Sometimes she will hold onto both. She is very fast and you cannot fool her for long.

Hali was in a desperate state when she was rescued with a severe infection of her uterus and starving to the point of anemia. She weighed only 2 kilograms (4.4 lbs). She has recovered fully and is at a healthy weight now. Because of what she’s been through, Hali has a great deal of “food insecurity” and gobbles up all of her meal as fast as she can. She actually jumps for joy and squeals with delight as her food is delivered to her.

Hali’s foster mom says she is “a real sweetie and easy to love”. She will need some patience as she settles into her forever family home. Once she is comfortable, she will be a wonderful companion, perfect for a single person or a couple in a quiet household. Older children who would play with her gently (especially with the toy on the stick), would likely be okay.

You can see more of Hali, when she first came into our care, on her initial foster mom’s instagram @karinsfosterfeline #healingHali

Precious

Picture
Picture
Precious loves treats so much, she’ll turn into the Kool-Aid Man the moment she hears a treat bag being shaken.

This sweet girl may be shy at first, but once she feels safe, her curious nature starts to shine. She loves exploring new places, carefully checking out every corner and hiding spot before deciding it passes inspection.

Precious is also an impressive jumper and enjoys finding high perches where she can keep an eye on everything happening around her. When she’s not on an adventure, you’ll often find her enjoying one of her favourite activities: a good afternoon nap.

One of Precious’s cutest quirks is her love of freshly-dried laundry. Leave a warm pile of towels unattended, and she’ll happily burrow underneath them for a cozy snooze.

Precious is looking for a patient forever family who will give her the time she needs to build confidence and come out of her shell. A calm home with people who understand that trust takes time would be her perfect match.

Smokey

Picture
Picture
Smoky is a chatty, sweet, friendly, playful, and active boy! He absolutely loves attention and will reward you with purrs, head-butts, and lots of biscuits. He likes being near his humans and sleeps with his foster mom at night. His foster mom says: “ All around, he is a beautiful and sweet boy.”

An active cat, Smoky plays with the resident cat or plays with toys he finds on the floor. A special joy is having catnip rubbed into his scratching post. He would welcome the company of another cat and should be fine with older children.

Smokey can be quite vocal, especially as he settles into a new home. If he didn’t have this one quirk, you might wonder if this affectionate cat is too purrfect to be real.

Sumi

Picture
Sumi, from the #CherryBlossom litter, is a tiny blossom shadow, soft and sleek in her black fur with just a few whimsical white hairs sprinkled through like stars — plus a secret little white patch on her lower tummy that only her favorite humans get to see.

She may be the smallest of the bunch, but she plays with the heart of a lion cub, keeping up with her brothers. She adores being part of the exclusive girls club with her sister Sakura, the two of them drifting around together like twin petals — one dark, one light — exploring, observing, and plotting gentle mischief.

Sumi is tender, sweet, and wonderfully friendly, just a touch shy at first. But the moment you start scratching her cheeks or rubbing behind her ears, she melts. Truly melts. She flops onto her side like a tiny ink-blossom puddle, purring softly and soaking up every bit of love you offer.

She’s gentle, playful, and full of quiet charm — a little blossom girl who may be small, but fills every space with warmth.

Kiko

Picture
Kiko is a confident little blossom of kindness and charm, a handsome bullseye tabby who carries himself with the quiet swagger of a kitten who knows he’s unforgettable. He’s curious in the most endearing way — always investigating, always learning, always convinced the next great discovery is just one pawstep away.

He adores his female foster mom and the moment she sits, he’s in her lap; the moment she enters the room, he’s calling for her with that sweet, melodic meow that could melt stone. And when he settles in, he settles — warm, soft, and certain he belongs right there.

Kiko is silly and funny in the best ways, a great climber who scales cat trees like a tiny mountaineer with big dreams. He loves traveling around with his brother Momo, the two of them toddling along like a pair of blossom-themed troublemakers on a mission.

A window-watcher and tiny bird-dreamer,  he’ll sit perched like a little blossom prince, tail curled neatly, studying the outside world with quiet fascination. And when he’s not gazing at birds, he’s seeking out affection — especially cheek scratches. Those are his weakness. Those are his bliss. He’s cuddly, loving, curious, and wonderfully expressive — a little blossom boy who fills every moment with warmth, humor, and sweetness.
